YOUTHADVANCE RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

Following the development of our virtual residential program during COVID-19 lockdown, we have had wonderful feedback from our participants and parents on the services provided. The main feedback that we received was “Can we make this a Face-to-Face program?” – the answer is YES!!

Introducing for 2023, a hybrid learning residential project where you will complete an amazing 5 days of personal growth and development in a COMBINATION of online learning and face-to-face fun!

PROGRAM AIM AND CHALLENGE

The participants will complete courses and learn strategies designed to help them live, eat and stay healthy, which is so important during school and university study as well as into the workforce and life. In addition, the participants will undertake team building activities, first aid scenarios, bushwalking and camp out for the final three days of learning to develop their knowledge further.

Participants who complete the YouthAdvance Residential Project will complete the following:

  1. HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
  2. Apply Fatigue Management Strategies
  3. Recognise Healthy Body Systems
  4. Complete bushwalking and some navigation/geocaching techniques
