Yengo

Yengo National Park is a rugged landscape of steep gorges and rocky ridges, just waiting to be explored in a region near the Hunter Valley.

Part of the Greater Blue Mountains Area World Heritage Property, Yengo has spectacular views, remote wilderness and unique Aboriginal cultural heritage. There’s an abundance of Aboriginal sacred sites and rock engravings to discover.
In addition, part of the historic, convict-built Old Great North Road in the south-east of the park is also a reminder of the park’s more recent colonial history.

Participants will complete separate loop walks to explore different regions of the park of each day returning to camp at the Mogo Creek campsite. With some tricky navigation challenges and some terrain requiring teamwork to ascend or descend, this location truly challenges and rewards our participants.
